Calamares log display

Hi
Just installed Sparky 7.8 on two systems one with Xfce and the other with Mate. There were no problems but unlike other distros using Calamares when clicking on the log button it only shows the version that is running Calamares and does not give any other information.

I have run a trial of  Sparky 8.0 before installing on my main system and the log now shows calamares  log.
