Hello,
I'm new to this forum, and here is my first question:
1.I used the Rasberry Pi Imager to write sparkylinux-7.6-arm64 to the micro sd card.
Thne I started my Rasberry Pi the first time with sparky. a login screen (original debian screen) appeared and I should write a username and a password to log in. Strange: I didn't create any useraccount before, because there was no opportunity to do this at any time of the boot process.
2.I decided to overwrite the sd card with a new sparky Image on it. In Rasberry Pi Imager exists the possibility to create a useraccount in the installation settings, so my user account will already be included while Sparky OS is written to the SD-Card.
Within the second attempt to boot Sparky I did the login while still in terminal mode.
As a result I was logged in, but only in terminal mode. There was no way to start the desktop. By the way: what is the default-desktop of the arm-Version - xfce ?
- But maybe my mistake was to fill in my login data while the Rasberry is still in terminal- mode, and not wait, until the desktop is loaded.
Rebooting a 2nd time did a new thing: I was asked to do a netinstall of an os to the Rasberry. It didn't recognize Sparky OS anymore.
So: What is there to do, to start Sparky on a Rasberry correctly ?
Thanks for an answer,
Armin

I think, I damaged the second installation by simply pulling out the power-supply, after I didn't find a command to shutdown the Rasberry from the terminal. Now I know better. Holding Fn & F10 for a while did it.
If I start the Rasberry with a fresh Sparky-Installation with a Login-name and a password wich are already set in Rasb.PI Imager, it starts in Terminalmode. I can switch to any directory and can see all the files, but unfortunatly still don't find anything, that would start the graphics modus. I even don't know, if it is possible. It is possible the other way,I know. There must be a command for this.

I have found out, how to get into the graphical mode of sparkylinux-7.6-arm64.
It is the command: "systemctl set-default graphical.target". The command had to be executed as root. After the next reboot, Rasberry started in graphical mode.
After having solved this problem, I noticed the next one: No tone out of my USB-Audio-Interface. But this is for the next thread...
Would someone mark the thread as SOLVED ? I didn't find out how to do this. Thank you.
