I have no idea how much effort it would involve, but what are the chances we could gen an image for AARCH64 for the Pinebook and PinebookPro laptops?

Clearly not all versions, but one of the lighter ones (min, perhaps).

Did you see the post on Planet Debian on Jan 26?

Arm and Wayland are a very good fit.  Pick up Sway from Experimental.  Run it with testing (rolling) or Sid-Unstable.  That should be about as fast as it will get.  If you can keyboard, the Sway DE is enough, who needs a WM.

I read the article last night at work and I salivated. I would have seiously  thought about getting one but it only comes with 4 GB for memory, theymight have had me with 8 GB and less than a minimum 1 month wait.  A person could have more than a little fun with it IMHO.

You can always add any of the Sparky repos to the best of my knowledge.

And for running Sway on Stable - see last post of

Do you have one in your possession?

Search forum for "More info easier via inxi"    If requested -  no inxi, no help for you by  me.

If we ever get those devices, we will prepare the appropriate images.
