[SOLVED] Lxqt conky and transparency

Hello everyone, I just installed sparky lxqt and am quite happy with it so far but have run into a small hurdle, I cannot make my conky transparent... I am guessing that I have to enable it somewhere but cannot find an option anywhere. I also tried adjusting the values for the terminal (Qterminal) to make that have some transparency but that failed also.
Any suggestions welcome

I managed to solve this issue by installing compton.
