Moving firmware packages from non-free to non-free-firmware

This afternoon, reading some threads on Siduction forum; I came across this interesting thread:


Where a major change to the non-free repository is noted. And that is the creation of a new repository exclusively for the firmware, called 'non-free-firmware'.
 (As explained in the above link)

Quote[....] Users of sid and testing need to apply a change to their Debian sources.list to be able to obtain firmware-updates in the future.

No matter if you have non-free and /or contrib in your sources already, please add:

non-free-firmware

to /etc/apt/sources.list

deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
