Hello forum,

New member here.

I'm became a Linux user prior to the end of Windows XP April 2014.

I cut my Linux teeth on Debian Wheezy and then started using Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr.

Throughout the years I've did my share of disto hopping to try out other Linux distros and now run different Linux distros on several computers.

All of my Linux computers are curb finds or other users discarded computers which I've upgraded as best I could with spare parts I have laying around.

So yes my computers are still using 2 core processors and DDR2 and DDR3 memory and integrated motherboard graphics adapters and mechanical hard drives.

Can't see any need to purchase new computers when what I have is very capable of doing what I use my computers for.

I ran across SparkyLinux and decided to give it a try and see how it worked.

The install and updates went without a hitch and all additional software installed from the repository's and everything works great OOTB.

Life is good.
