So far I have seen no fallout from the libstdc++ transition occuring in Sid - in testing on sparky.  Competent users of Sid have been not performing system upgrades or even normal upgrades for about a week now.

Very few users of debian Sid - unstable have installed systemd, udev, libpam, etc. version 224-1. They would still be on 223-2  This is not a bad thing.  I issued command (sudo) "journalctl -b -0" after dist-upgrading and again after a reboot into 224-1.  I saw no log entries that gave me any concern and have seen no problems on my atom netbook.

However some bugs that would have been noticed and then reported by sid users will possibly creep through.

The libstdc++ transition will also result in a slower pace of new packages to upgrade here in testing until the transition is done,  6% is done so far.  If you are interested in seeing the large amount of work that is being done and needs to be done - the following web page is informative.  It is a very large page.

In an unrelated note - Hopefully testing will get the mozilla security update soon.
