ASUS USB-BT500 firmware failed to load / not found after Sparky 7 upgrade

Hi, I switched to orion and bookworm and immediately noticed that a bluetooth dongle was not working.

follow up to my own question 3 hours later

I was able to get the bluetooth 5.0 to work using this https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=152453

thought I would also say that I'm still getting a fail to load error on the rtl8761bu_config.bin I am a total newb by the way and I hope that I am going about this the correct way.
