I have this fantasy where you collaborate with Linux Mint to help them in developing their LMDE edition and convert it to testing...
Could there be any reality to this fantasy?

Two very different philosophies.  Besides LMDE is poorly supported , LM's (without the DE) focus is on tracking Ubuntu.     /dev/null
