excellent review of SparkyLinux, as well as another totally
disastrous review.
The first of them was
published on January 1 (with reference
to his article of last July tenth, 2025). A concise, serious, detailed and exhaustive review.
And, where he finally comments that using SparkyLinux was an almost perfect experience.
And OTOH, this one made by Jesse Smith of
DistroWatch (
using an outdated version -
SparkyLinux 2025.09 running CDE) where he ends by saying that the newly
installed distribution cannot boot.
Specifically, it ends with this paragraph:

After a few minutes of working, Calamares reported it had successfully completed the installation and offered to restart the computer. Unfortunately, the freshly installed distribution failed to boot. In fact, a closer look at the disk indicated a boot loader had not been set up, rendering the machine unbootable.
