Title: Goodbye boot after upgrade
Post by: frank62 on August 15, 2024, 09:26:11 AM
Hello.
I have installed sparky 7.4 , stable, Kde version, on a SSD connected to an ACER Aspire 5, with windows 11. As suggested by
https://forum.sparkylinux.org/index.php/topic,5787.msg15709.html#msg15709,
i turned off secure boot before installation, and then turned it back on afterwards. Sparky worked for a while, but after one or more updates ( of the kernel ), it stopped working, in the sense that, at boot there is SSD, but selecting it, the classic error message "Security boot Fail" appears, with the padlock.

Is there an easy solution ?

Hello.
Try disabling secure boot again.

Disabled secure boot, system updated , re-enabled secure boot. No luck
