Title: [SOLVED] - SparkyLinux 8 - cat /etc/debian_version > bookworm/sid
Post by: AxL on June 19, 2023, 04:09:44 PM
(https://i.imgur.com/bDtcOwK.gif)  I don't know if this is intentional (or a small mistake/error), but using cat /etc/debian_version in SparkyLinux 8 (Seven-Sisters) gives as a result:

bookworm/sid

Similarly, using lsb_release -a

Shouldn't it be, trixie/sid (debian_version) and trixie, as Codename ?

I think the error is in the file 'base-files_13.sparky8~0_amd64.deb' (specifically in data.tar.xz/etc/debian_version)

First of all and as always, thank you very much for your excellent work with SparkyLinux.  (https://i.imgur.com/RGwcc9H.gif)

I don't want to sound ungrateful or pedantic. But I think, it is not solved.

As you can see on this screenshot:

As I commented in my op, shouldn't it be, trixie/sid (debian_version) and trixie, as Codename ??  (https://i.imgur.com/8tU9he6.gif)
