(https://i.imgur.com/bDtcOwK.gif) I don't know if this is intentional (or a small mistake/error), but using cat /etc/debian_version in SparkyLinux 8 (Seven-Sisters) gives as a result:
bookworm/sid
(https://i.imgur.com/AolU20Z.png)
Similarly, using lsb_release -a
(https://i.imgur.com/j9gF0YA.png)
Shouldn't it be, trixie/sid (debian_version) and trixie, as Codename ?
I think the error is in the file 'base-files_13.sparky8~0_amd64.deb' (specifically in data.tar.xz/etc/debian_version)

Yes, you right, updated base-files, thanks.

First of all and as always, thank you very much for your excellent work with SparkyLinux. (https://i.imgur.com/RGwcc9H.gif)
I don't want to sound ungrateful or pedantic. But I think, it is not solved.
As you can see on this screenshot:

As I commented in my op, shouldn't it be,
trixie/sid (
debian_version) and
trixie, as
Codename ?? (https://i.imgur.com/8tU9he6.gif)
