I have installed SparkyLinux Live Persistence 6.6 on 64gb USB on a Dell Optiplex 330 running Core 2 Duo processor with 4GB ram. I performed an upgrade from CLI, and encountered an error while processing linux-image-4.9-337-sparky-lts49-amd64
Processing triggers for menu (2.1.48) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
linux-image-4.9.337-sparky-lts49-amd64
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Cli reports the following:
update-initramfs is disabled
the package is already the latest version
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: failed to get canonical path of 'overlay'.
run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.x/zz-update-grub exited with return code 1
Question: Will this error cause problems?
Should I just ignore the error, or try to fix this? Do I have to completely remove linux-image package, then re-install? Any recommendations...
