Title: hold kernel upgrade
Post by: pican on August 26, 2020, 05:19:28 AM
I did run sparky-upgrade thus doubled the options to boot linux image 4.19.0-8 and 4.19-0-10 . I am not proned to upgrade since my toaster is old and my few knowledge reading showed me builders keep old kernel versions in favor of performance. Now every time I install a package, terminal warnings about the running kernel is not the last (I pick the previous one at grub menu every time). Please, adivse viewpoints about that choice and if I uninstall the newer, does warnings will cease?
