Title: Restore XFCE tray - Sparky Config / Recently Used / Updates - base config
Post by: gvjensen on November 27, 2019, 07:13:40 PM
Guys,

I recently ran into a situation where OwnCloud complained that I lacked a 'system tray' - and the only way to fix it was to reinstall the XFCE tray (which is completely different than the base Sparky Linux look (now it's on the top, and a bar on the bottom - no recently used list... etc).

I liked the simplicity of the Sparky base XFCE load.  Any ideas on how to fix?

I simply reinstalled the panel, then unlocked it from the top position, moved to the bottom.

Got rid of the application pick, and replaced it with 'whisker'.  Moved the mini-panel from the bottom (centered), to the top right (after an 'unlock').

D'oh... finished.

p.s. - tried to copy my .config/xfce files from a working laptop - that did not make any difference.
