Title: Stuck at booting logo screen.
Post by: Bnj on April 24, 2019, 02:26:52 PM
I installed sparky Linux a couple weeks ago on a old eeepc 1101ha, it was working seemlessly and I loved it until today when it won't pass the boot screen. I am not sure it is a sparky Linux error but rather an hardware issue. Please find a link with the video of what happrns: https://streamable.com/02sa7 it is like writing the following characters sequence ~^[[3 repeatedly. Any idea of what is happening?

Thank you,

I have witnessed the blinking "_ " in the upper left portion of the monitor.  Bare metal (i386) and vm (virtual machine), I believe Sparky and Debian vm's.

Going to tty1 and logging in as root  and then give commands "apt update"  and then "apt full-upgrade"  fixed if I remember right.  Also good to try is "dpkg --configure -a"

If other problems present, it really helps to install inxi  and post the output of the terminal that "inxi -Fxx" was issued in.
