Title: Linux Since 1994
Post by: zandoval on November 08, 2018, 11:43:21 PM
New to Sparky and I like it.

I'm a user not a real Linux OS guy but one that has been over the years broken into it. In 94 we had one old computer in our house of four computers running Debian. Wow... wasn't koppix a hit with is live install later on.

Now we have only one computer with Windows and its a dual boot so it mostly stays in Lubuntu. So that's two desktops, three laptops, and five phones (android) running some form of linux.

Over the years I have used Kanotix, Mint, Pardus, Slako, but have favored Puppy Linux. Puppys transition to ubuntu has taken allot of its power base and I have found it a bit more tedious on older computers.

This Sparky running with the debian side of things is really working out for me. And really... figuring out how to do things in LXDE has been kinda fun.

I am pretty sure I'm going to move Sparky over to my other machines too...

HAPPY HAPPY.. JOY JOY...
