Title: cannot autologin to lxqt desktop
Post by: dancaer69 on October 04, 2018, 04:39:39 PM
Hello,
I just installed sparky with LXQT desktop by minimal gui advanced installer. The installation and login was succesfull except that autologin didn't work. I tried to set autologin to my user which didn't work, and I followed an advice on this thread about LXDE:
https://sparkylinux.org/forum/index.php?topic=2478.0
about to edit file /usr/share/xsessions/lightdm-xsession.desktop
Unfortunately I didn't keep the original file and now I cannot login to desktop.
I changed the Name and Exec lines. I remember that exec line was "default" but not the name line(I tried lightdm-default-session which didn't work, but I think was something like that).
Any help to fix this?
Thanks.
EDIT:
I copied the original file from the live cd, but still I cannot login. I can't login even to openbox session.
