Title: latency
Post by: seppalta on November 02, 2016, 04:59:43 PM
I added to /etc/sysctl.conf the following:  vm.swappiness="10" and even changed /proc/sys/vm/swappiness reading to 10 (from the default value 60).   The sysctl.conf setting remains 10 after additional boots, but the other setting always reverts back to the default 60 setting.  What is my swappiness setting, 10 or 60, and how can I make it permanently 10?
