Title: Installing R-Studio
Post by: Jared on September 22, 2015, 03:37:32 PM
I'm trying to install the data recovery program R-Studio (not to be confused with the other rstudio) which I know runs in Debian builds, I've actually used it in other builds such as Knoppix and Ubuntu.  It even has a .deb install package which seemed to install fine.  However when I run the app, I get this message:

Quoteerror while loading shared libraries: libfontconfig.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

Any ideas?

OK, I figured it out myself.  Turns out I needed the 32 bit version of the libfontconfig1

I posted the fix here.
