Title: SSD + Thinkpad 121e + Sparky = No operating System found?
Post by: avreml on June 11, 2015, 10:11:29 AM
Hello Sparky Users,

I have a problem which seems hard to solve for me. I changed the HDD from my Lenovo X121e  to a Samsung SSD drive.  It is recognized in BIOS, so everything seems allright so far.

Then i install sparky via USB:
Partition Table is gpt. Root Partition, Home Partition, Efi Boot Partition, Swap Partition are created.
Efi Boot flagged with boot, eps.
So after installing, there comes the message: No operating system found.

When i use rescatux option: "boot any grub configuration" Grub is suddenly found and sparky can be started.

So where is my error and can anybody help so i dont always have to start rescatux first, to boot sparky?

Thanks in advance!

Avreml
