Quote" Synaptic " Package Manager

and install

Quote
    " software-properties-common "

And after installing the above package

enter this code in terminal

Quotesudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps

And then use sparkyaptus to edit /etc/apt/sources.list.d

or simply use leafpad

Find this file "noobslab-apps"

edit this

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/noobslab/apps/ubuntu trusty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/noobslab/apps/ubuntu trusty main

Change ubuntu jessie to ubuntu trusty

and then

update sources and install

Quotesudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install playonlinux

Playonlinux version 4.2.5 is now installed.

Display sources.list entries for:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/noobslab/apps/ubuntu utopic main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/noobslab/apps/ubuntu utopic main
