Title: Unable to Right mouse click on a file and then Copy and paste it to Sparky LXDE

Something not working..Right clicking works on icons on the Desktop but will not work when I try to right click on a downlaod and paste it to usb stick..Plse help

Do you have write permission to the USB memory stick?

thanks for reply  yes I do have write permission for usb,please note that the lack of abilty to right click on an item and copy/paste it is not confined to the usb stick..there is no function at all! NB No problem when using Ubuntu or Linux Mint Os? Please advise a solution tks

Inside a folder you want to past something to, open a terminal emulator and run:
ls -l
and past it here.
