Try again, it was a temporary problem.

[...] it was a temporary problem.

Why is access to the repository, through any browser prohibited ... ??   ???

A '403 Forbidden' warning appears as you can see in the image below:

Due to serious problems on our server, some settings have been changed and security hardened.
You can still browse debs manually via a web browser on one of our mirrors:

Ah, okay ;)

Thank you very much, for your quick response, and for the alternative solution.

I run Sparky Linux 6.2 on my desktop and Sparky 7 on my laptop.  Aptus stopped working on both.
  Any suggestions?
Thanks!

All your repos, excluding etcher are fine.
The etcher repo fails so temporary disable it waiting for fixing.

What if I comment-out (balena-etcher.list) in my /etc/apt/sources.list.d/?  Will that harm my Sparky?

That's the only place I see a reference to etcher

No, it will not.
What you need is Debian and Sparky repos.
Rest of them is your choice.

Thanks for the assist!

My repos look good now and I found and purged a program named "balena-etcher-electron". I've re-installed aptus, but still can't get it to work.

Thanks again for your suggestions!

Is that a full output of the command?
I have the same line launching appcenter, but is longer.
I need full output, please.

And what desktop have you been using when trying to launch aptus appcenter?

I use the Xfce desktop.  I still cannot run APTus or APTus AppCenter from the Sparky menu.
I did finally get Aptus Aptcenter (graphical) by running-----sudo sparky-aptus-appcenter .. so I can at least run Aptus tools from there.

I know that the sudo runs aptus, but it has to be started with remsu, means without sudo, as the aptus desktop file calls it.

So, the applications works, but the problem is with remsu/pkexec.
Show me outputs of:
apt policy sparky-remsu
apt policy policykit-1
and make a test:
pkexec sparky-aptus-appcenter

You do not need to show me output of the command with sudo.
The problem is with pkexec not with sudo.
Show me, please:
ls -l /usr/bin/pkexec
