Title: 2 simple questions [SOLVED]
Post by: penguin on August 14, 2017, 10:38:00 PM
Hi to all.
2 simple questions:

1-How to change grub background / text color in sparky? I tried to modify grub.conf also 05_debian_theme file but no result.
2-Each time I boot Sparky, my keyboard changes to US. How can i set another one keyboard layout as default in boot? ( I use LDM  for my XFCE)

Thanks in advance.

Fantastic tutorial HOWTO change backround and text color in grubhttp://www.thegeekstuff.com/2012/10/grub-splash-image/but..seems that the only way to change grub background is replacing of /opt/artwork/sparky-grub.png by your preferred file. The way to change text color is adding of changing_color_text_lines (as described in above tutorial) under section if background_image /opt/artwork/sparky-grub.png; then in file /boot/grub/grub.cfg.If it is necessary you need to add the same lines in the file /etc/grub.d/07_sparky_theme under line if [ -z "${2}" ] && [ -z "${3}" ]; then
Hope it helps.
