I have SparkyLinux (os version : 5) on a virtual machine with VirtualBox. I have the Rolling version. This my problem : When I right clik, the menu don't appears but a white square appears. To resolve the problem, I updated with the terminal SparkyLinux but it is not working. I am waiting for a reply.
thanks you and have a nice day.

Hi
What is a desktop and arch (32 or 64bit)?
Can you make a screenshot of that, please?

1. It is in VirtualBox
2.  You do not have that much time invested in your installation.
3.  You say that you are very new to linux.  What I give is options, I am not telling anyone what to do.

If you choose, you could just delete the VirtualBox installation.  Reinstall one of the STABLE versions.  You do not need the aggravation of the constant changes when you are learning linux.

XFCE LXDE and LXQT are all good candidates.   Write down or store  your steps taken during the installation.  Enjoy.
