Forum settings / Re: Discourse
Last post by nevertheless - August 05, 2022, 04:16:34 PM
Does Discourse content appear in google searches? I like forums because I can search for "how to reset lost password" and find something instead of having to ask the same question over and over (and people answer it over and over). Discourse always seemed more like the latter.

There is no Firefox 98 in Debian or Sparky repos.
Probably you have Firefox 91.x ESR installed from Debian repos, so all fine, it is a long term support release.
If you'd like, you can install 'firefox-sparky' package to get the latest one.

Hope you can help.

I am running Sparky Linux 7 (Orion Belt) fully updated.
Firefox browser is still on version 98.0, and I know the latest version is 103 at the moment.
Is there something wrong? Do I have to worry?

Thanks. That worked perfect. Librewolf v102 is now installed.

Downgraded librewolf to 102, so you can install it, waiting for the new libs updating.

Removing Firefox does not make any problem.
The problem is with versions of libnss3 and libx11-xcb1, they are to low now, have to wait for updating them from Debian Sid repos soon.

My time was off by several hours in Bios, I fixed that but it did not magically help with installing librewolf... I didn't think it would, but it was worth a try.

I have the following versions of these two dependencies installed:
libnss3         version 2:3.79-1
libx11-xcb1 version 2:1.7.5-1
