Title: Radiostation
Post by: penguin on May 24, 2020, 01:03:12 PM
Great pavroo. Tried and works good. Some small glitches (very rare) with memory. I personalized list, editing /~/.config/radiostation/bookmarks.xml.
The only link that Radiostation is not able to play was http://lin1.san.fast-serv.com:9844/; (Andy 80' Rare) .The link can be played by Firefox but not by Opera(the same engine as Chrome). Alternatively I tried to run https://radiovolna.net/en/6228-andys-80s.html in Radiostation, but gives the follow error Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in. Which pluig-in is missing ? I did not found solution. But searching internet :

https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2220674
http://www.webupd8.org/2014/04/10-things-to-do-after-installing-ubuntu.html

but gstreamer-FFmpeg is installed by gstreamer1.0-libav package (I need to test in Sparky Linux because this mom I am running lubuntu of my friend). I will come back latter if I can run it in Sparky.

Confirmed that :

http://lin1.san.fast-serv.com:9844/; (Andy 80' Rare)

plays correctly in my Sparky Linux XFCE stable. Great sound.

Again. Thank you. pavroo.

Some ideas (for the moment).
1- A small editor that can edit easily bookmarks.xml would be great (separate from main program, aiming to leave it simple)

Thanks pavroo. I personalized good enough the bookmarks file. It  i very simple.
The only link that I did not arrived to play in ubuntu distros is : http://lin1.san.fast-serv.com:9844/; (i do not why).Maybe,I should dig a little deeper in your Radiostation code to understand why the above link played correctly in Firefox and not in Opera.
