Title: When launching a new terminal, I want my $PATH to be set

I'm using sparkylinux 5.13 stable, brand new installation.

When I launch a new terminal, I've noticed that it won't run my .profile

however, it does seem to run ~/.bashrc

I'm really confused, does anyone know what's going on?
