Desktops / KDE Connect and sshfs error
Last post by rektal - October 31, 2024, 08:28:28 AMI can't connect to my Pixel device. When I try to access it I have got an error: sshfs finished with exit code 1.
I can ring it and ping it but I can't access filesystem.
I use SparkyLinux seven-sisters 8 x86_64. I have installed:
sshfs - 3.7.3-1.1+b1
kdeconnect - 23.08.5-1+b1.
KDE Plasma 5.27.11
What do I need to do about the sshfs error?

does any person information, how the Microsoft Defender Endpoint for Linux works on SparkyLinux 7 Xfce Edition (or on any others from them)?
If any, which are the corner-points during installation and/or usage?
I had found many issues on the web, but almost all of them are learn.microsoft issues, so they are anything but not authentic for me. Over that they are citations, so not too much useful for me. E.g. I could not be sure, is it a free application or is it a must for pay for it anyway?

Installation / Calamares won't just replace a...

I cannot get Calamares to just replace a partition, which is one of the choices.
The partition is already created, 25GB. There is also a swap partition already created.
When I select the 25 GB partition, instead of just replacing it, it wants to create a lot of free space in front of it and shrink the partition behind it.
Anybody else have this problem? Most of the distributions I install don't use Calamares, so am less familiar with it.
