Title: Openbox (minimal) "sparky-gexec.desktop" line in panel code
Post by: pccobbler on March 08, 2020, 05:18:08 PM
I'm editing the panel code in a 5.10.1 Stable Openbox (minimal) system. I found the section where the launchers are and have added a few of my own. However, one line makes no sense:

launcher_item_app = /usr/share/applications/sparky-gexec.desktop

because there is no "sparky-gexec" in /usr/share/applications. I commented it out and nothing seemed to change. Invalid lines do not cause an error -- I know this from recent experience -- so I'm guessing this line is an artifact from long ago. Does it serve a purpose?

The 'gexec' package doesn't have a desktop entry so 'sparky-gexec' provides it.

Will have  a look after, thanks.
