Title: Looking for a script
Post by: wimduk on December 05, 2021, 11:32:53 AM
Dear readers,

Every time when I startup Sparky Linux I am prompted to update my system  :(.
Although I understand the need for a well maintained system this is, as far as I am concerned, overdone. Therefore I disabled this function in the startup procedure.

Now I am looking for a cron script that I can run on a weekly basis. Is  such a script available?

Many thanks in advance for your time spend on this subject.

There is a small gui to do so: menu-> System-> System Upgrade Scheduler
