[....]   I still have Sparky versions 6 and 7 on two single user systems and would like to use the same passwords on another. When installing either 8 or 9 which both require strong passwords, is there any way that I can  allow weak passwords which is a choice on other single user installations.

You can always change the password, whenever you want:

For those of us that would like this is there a list anywhere that could be copied and pasted into it.

AxL Thanks for the  information, have changed my password as suggested. I have noticed that Debian trixie also needs a strong password, it seems to depend on how a distribution have used Calmares some give the choice of using a weak password and other do not.

An update on this issue:

• It seems that the 'Alien Shades'  theme, has NOT been updated, for the latest version of the Simple Machines forum version (2.1.6)
  
  
• And, in the case of 'Orangey' appears in the list of themes available, compatible with version 2.1.6 of the forum
   (but it has the error, I commented in the first message).

  Is it possible to add a new dark theme, which is compatible with the latest version of the forum (2.1.6) ... ??
