Title: Background disappearing
Post by: cstolarik on November 26, 2019, 01:07:53 AM
I upgraded to Sparky 6 yesterday and had a current background that I wanted to keep as my background since it brought back memories of a animal that I lost years ago.  I set the background and got it organized to how I liked it including having it centered on each screen.  Well when I shut down the computer the image was still there but when I started the computer back up the next day the background was gone and it is just a black screen.  My question is how do I fix this on my end or is it something that is a bug in the distro?

NO, very probably NOT a bug in the distro.
1  Crucial info you neglected    What is your DE?

2.  What has occured since the set up    update/upgrade,  change of DE,

You can probably find out your DE, investigate what it uses for your background image and what section of preferences is used to set that up and  then post the answer and mark as solved.
