Last post by bushyiii - December 12, 2024, 05:00:21 PMJust installed SparkyLinux 8 "The Seven Sisters" on an ASUS laptop. Installation appears to have installed successfully.
I tried installing stremio from Aptus Appcenter. I see a terminal open, a couple of text lines are very briefly displayed then the terminal closes without anything installing.
What should I do?

Thank you for joining us at the forum and giving Sparky a try!
I use it as my daily driver on 3 of my 4 laptops and on my desktop I use the semi-rorring XFCE version of Spary and it has been working great. 2 of my Laptops are HP 635 which are very old dual core AMD they have 8gb of memory and 500 sd HD the Other laptop is a LAtitude 5480 i5
same as you I have found that Sparky is the best for old computers.

I tried to install Sparky Linux twice on the same SD-card.
md5/sha sum is ok.
