Hi, i fighting with flash player under sparkylinux. i use chromium browser so i neeed papeerflash. i type commnad:

sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude upgrade
sudo aptitude install pepperflashplugin-nonfree

and i have error


ERROR: failed to retrieve status information from google : W: http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/dists/stable/Release.gpg: Signature by key 4CCA1EAF950CEE4AB83976DCA040830F7FAC5991 uses weak digest algorithm (SHA1)

so i try synaptic and under synaptic i install pepperflashplugin-nonfree 1.8.2 but flash in chromium didn`t work

can anybody can tell me steps by step what i must do in fresh sparkylinux 4.3 to work flash under chromium?

you are doing everything just fine... the steps you where taking are just good and should work...
they can't because off that bug, which has allready been reported and confirmed....

and as far as I know... there is no ugly work around...

what do you need the flash for ?

EDIT: even siduction is affected and the installation is not working... just for info  ;)

i need flash for one site (sfgame.net) but i finally install the latest flash and it works great under Chromium and Opera

i use flash from ubuntu:

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/pepperflashplugin-nonfree_1.8.2ubuntu1.tar.gz

after unpack

Quotesudo ./pepperflashplugin-nonfree --instal
