Title: bfgminer
Post by: bc on February 16, 2021, 05:00:27 AM
Thought I would share that Sparky was the only Debian based distro in which I could easily run  my Crypto mining  hardware and software. Found the programs run using a mini NUC with Sparky (install) as a hub. I have been using Ubuntu mate for years but, couldn't get any of the software to operate. BFGminer script quickly installed and works "out of the box" with very little tweaking. Very impressed with this OS. Might consider installing on my main laptop. Thank you.

Glad you like it.

However, you may want to consider editing your post - Sparky is most assuredly NOT Ubuntu based. It is Debian.

Whilst Ubuntu is a relative and they share a lot of DNA, there are a huge number of technical and philosophical differences.

Thanks, I corrected it.
