Title: Mate-Lockkeys applet...
Post by: tenfoot on August 16, 2017, 11:34:42 PM
Using Sparky v5.0 Mate (testng)

I have downloaded the mate-applet-lockkeys-0.3.2.tar/gz and successfully installed it but although it is shown as installed in Synaptic, is not shown in the Menu.

A search of the computer shows that all the files are in /usr/local/share/

I seek help from the Forum  to tell me how to get the applet to appear in the Menu, please?

I am not sure you should find it in the menu.
It is an a panel applet so should be found in the menu applets to put it on a panel.

My apologies. When I wrote "Menu" I meant the Mate Panel Menu.  I should have been clearer in my message.

The tool is not supported by Debian's devs and I haven't seen it before, so I suggest to report the issue to the tool developers.

Thanks for your prompt reply.  I'll do as you suggest and get in touch with the developers.
