As I have been Sparky with Xfce for a while now, today I decided to register in this forum. Maybe I will learn a thing or two.
I am a 45 year old Austrian guy, living near Salzburg and I have been using Ubuntu and Debian since 2006. Debian did not recognize the touchpad and the wifi on my ThinkPad e470. Sparky did. So, here I am. :)

Hello Fritz I just recently changed to Sparky XFCE Statble, after a few tweaks to get my trackpad working as it is a Samsung N130 Notebook, now sorted. Once major thing I noticed was when I was on Linux Lite 3.8 Firefox was ponderously slow.
Now on Sparky Firefox flies best performance I have seen from Firefox for years, wonderful distro folks.
