Title: nm-tray
Post by: pavroo on September 30, 2022, 02:46:53 PM
There is a small but strange issue in 'nm-tray' package in LXQt desktop; the tool loads qt based network-manager icon tray and lets you manage connection, but it calls 'xterm' to do so but 'qterminal' is its dependency, strange... anyway, rebuilt nm-tray wich installs and calls spterm now on Sparky7;

install xterm on sparky6 to fix it

Speaking of Terminals, what exactly is the 'SparkyTerminal' window that opens and runs during the daily software updates? Is 'SparkyTerminal' an alternate terminal or is it the same terminal as the desktop environment's pre-installed terminal emulator going by a different name? Does 'SparkyTerminal' = XFCE terminal / Konsole / etc?

SparkyTerminal (spterm) is a terminal emulator forked from k3rmit terminal, which I use for all sparky tools.
Spimply run:
spterm -h
spterm -v
