Title: Vivaldi Openbox saved passwords
Post by: gumshoe on August 31, 2020, 04:29:15 AM
Hi.  My PC is set up with auto login, which would usually cause Vivaldi to prompt for the Keyring password, but this doesn't happen.  As a result, I cannot see saved passwords in Vivaldi/Chrome settings.  When I go to the site though, it has remembered the credentials (I can't remember the password so being able to view saved passwords will help me here...)

I opened seahorse and there is no passwords sections or keys saved there.

I can open the password file (Login Data) with sql lite and see the entries, with the passwords encrypted.

I disabled auto login but still no luck.  How does Sparky manage the keyring so that Vivaldi isn't prompting for it with auto-login enabled?  It seems it's not unlocking the keyring but yet the saved passwords work.  Or is this a Vivaldi corruption issue in viewing the saved passwords?
