Title: Keyboard layout
Post by: Senas_Komunistas on May 01, 2016, 03:55:48 PM
Hello. Sorry for my bad english. Today i made clean install of Sparky linux 4.3 LXDE. So far, so good, but i have one question. Usually, i work with three keyboard layouts-english, russian and lithuanian, so i often switch between multiple languages, but in Sparky linux  LXDE i can not find a keyboard switcher. So my question is how to add multiple keyboard layouts in sparkylinux?

Hi
Install 'fcitx-config-gtk' or 'fcitx-config-gtk2' package and run it from menu.
It lets you switch between different keyboard layouts during one session.

Greetings from germany...

if you want a fast way to change the keyboard setup... just create a starter icon
and the command should be like

setxkbmap XX

where xx is your country code...
