I'm trying to install Sparky 5 Nibiru on a RAID 0 array. I live boot the system and run sudo apt update and sudo apt install mdadm. Then mdadm --assemble -scan. All good so far.
Whan I launch the installer, it doesn't see my RAID array. What am I doing wrong?

I am not sure that the Calamares supports RAID.

Fedora, Debian, and Ubuntu all support RAID. I was hoping that Sparky did too because I've heard good things about it.
I think Pawel meant that you need to run advanced-installer GUI or CLI (sparkylinux-installer) in order to install it into RAID, because the default Calamares GUI installer still not supporting it.

How do I launch an advanced installer? Debian's text installer would do nicely...
I found it:
sudo sparkylinux-installer gui
or sudo sparkylinux-installer
I'll try that later today and post my results.

I tried it in text mode and it didn't work: the RAID disks were not listed as an option.

What driver is needed to run it? maybe you need to load and activate it, take a look here (if is a true RAID hardware, than is a little bit different):

Sparky is a live spin, and to be able to use RAID, you need a installer spin, so my suggestion is for you to download Debian non-free iso of your choice, install it, than add Sparky repository for that flavor (stable/testing/unstable) to be able to install Sparky selected software.
