After doing the update indicated at https://sparkylinux.org/migration-to-a-new-vps/ some features on my Laptop (Lenovo e11 Thinkpad) has been disabled. My touchpad has been disabled. Also every now and then the Wifi gets turned off, which i am not sure is because of the update or not!
Posting output (marked up as code - # button) of
"inxi -bn"
would be appreciated - tells your network hardware, desktop, kernel, etc. If you are using any non-Sparky repos please add the "r" flag.
I am also using kxstudio repos:

Thanks for the inxi and using the code button.
I could have had you add "inxi -A --usb" to get more info on your sound card and usb components. output of lspci would show some of your other components.
I looked into the kxstudio. Openbox and your usage of the stable version are good choices when combining an outside repo.
Myself I always disable via "##" deb http://www.deb-multimedia.org/ buster main non-free ever since sox finally got started compiling with mp3 support in Debian. (maybe 8 years) BUT - your problems appear to not involve audio.
I have no ideas to easily give you, maybe others will have some ideas.
peace out.
