i'm about razorqt version:
when i click on synaptic icon not much happens
so i tried the synaptic-pxexec and i get this:
$ synaptic-pkexec
The value for the SHELL variable was not found the /etc/shells file
This incident has been reported.
i tried to add some lines in the /etc/shell so that now it looks like this:
# /etc/shells: valid login shells
/bin/sh
/bin/dash
/bin/bash
/bin/rbash
/bin/zsh
/usr/bin/zsh
/usr/sbin/nologin
/sbin/bash
/sbin/dash
/sbin/zsh
but in vain
any hint?
Edit file /usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop / synaptic-kde.desktop and change the line :

Exec=synaptic-pkexec
