Title: fresh install, no battery indicator?
Post by: dexl on February 08, 2020, 10:21:25 AM
I've just installed Sparky 5.9 on my netbook. There is no battery indicator anywhere... Could anyone help me to either locate it so that it gets displayed on the panel or what is the name of that indicator so I could install it from the Terminal? Thank you in advance.

Whats your desktop environment?

Sorry about a late reply. My desktop environment is LXQt. I managed to add LXQt Power Management to the panel, and it shows a battery icon but it doesn't work. It forever shows 100% for the battery info. This netbook is 10 years old, the battery does not last that long, so the info is not accurate. Any way to fix it? Thanks.
