Debian user here for a few years, playing multiboot with several debian as well as debian distros tracking wheezy and sid.

As I am playing with my Asus laptop , which is UEFI capable, I wish to know whether Sparky support UEFI on either 32-bit , 64-bit, type of DE, etc.

Hope to install some isos soon to play with them, especially UEFI.

Starting with 3.4 Sparky supports installation of EFI machines.
I don't have machine like that so I only tested it on VirtualBox in EFI mode (successfuly).
Anyway if you have Debian installed it can overwrite Debian's efi.img image so I am not sure you will run Debian after Sparky has been installed.

Hi pavroo,

thanks for the info.

One more question, I would expect then 64-bit are UEFI capable

How about 32-bit?

well, I can wipe out all Linux OSes and just leave the Win7/8 , then install Sparky, so that I can test it as if it is a Win laptop.

I read elsewhere a lot of people were having trouble dealing with dual booting Win8/Linux, so I wish to spend some time trying out.
