Title: Sparky Iso Builder : Where are the user .config files ?
Post by: sensor56 on October 18, 2015, 07:34:37 PM
Hi,

I'm using Sparky Iso Builder since few hours : it's very useful !! I love it yet !
I'm able to add new package in chroot mode, etc... But where are .config files for user ?
For example, I would like add lines in .config/openbox/autostart.sh but the home folder is empty in iso filesystem because no user is created...
Which file is used during the install ?

Thanks for answer.

Hi
There is not home directory in the live environment at all.
If you'd like to add your config for the live user, do it in:
/etc/skel
Skel is copied to home at system's start.

Hi Pavroo,

it's logical that there is no user in file system before installation... I understand it.
thank you very much for your fast answer : it's what i'm looking for by myself without success...

Your custom iso tool seems very powerful and useful !

best regards
