Title: Cant synaptic or term upgrade
Post by: Niggazzz on June 17, 2020, 02:19:10 AM
2 drives with grub installed on one but gives me the choice of what to boot.Well. Cant upload images ?
Anyhoo synptic asks to sudo dpkg --configure -a
Then I get this.
"the bootloader was previously installed to another disk that is no longer there"(partition I deleted).
Do I need to install grub on this disk too ?HOW ?I cant do sysnaptic or term apt-get install ?

I've got a day in tweaking this install before deleting the other partition for more space.

If I recall correctly you have to run   sudo dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc

Follow the instructions and install grub on correct disk.
