Post by: xendistar on August 09, 2019, 07:05:44 PM

Apologise if this is in the wrong place.

I am looking for a screen grab program, preferably one that use's the PrtSrc button, I currently am currently using a Lenovo R51 laptop

I am running the XFCE rolling Distro

Any suggestion please?

Answering my own post, I have found gnome-screenshot that if you run it with the -i flag allow you to run it with a gui interface (otherwise it is cli only). While this works there is a better program out there but I don't know what it was called.  :(

cli    "apropos screengrab" and various other searchs yielded nothing.

some decent hits at search of "screengrab linux 2019"

You have not mentioned what did not work -  that would help to eliminate false positives we might post.

You can map any screenshot app to the keybinding of your choice.  So pick you favorite and map it to PrtScr.

Open APTus -> Graphics tab and find what you need.
